Snow day, but no snow! January 28, 2008
Okay, so oddly enough, we had about 1/2 inch of snow last night. Schools were delayed two hours because of ice, and then, they were closed altogether. As I look outside my window, the snow is already melted, the sun is shining, and the sky is completely clear. Now I don’t mind the kiddos being home whatsoever, it’s just that seriousl, we closed school for this??!?
Well, I don’t get it, but I guess we *might* have some more coming in today, and I understand they don’t want the kids stuck at school. But still….how wimpy is that!

Yikes. Whoever this person is posing as me is stirring up QUITE the little shitstorm. I’m trying to figure out what’s going on here; will report back later. For the record, I don’t really do anything on Ebay other than buy the odd pair of shoes or outdated CD (well, and clothes…and sell stuff…uhhh….and lots of other stuff. It’s kind of addicting); this person is certainly doing something bad but I’m not sure I have the patience to go through this extremely long thread (something like 6 pages or so) and figure it out. I’ve never had this happen to me before; which, considering the amount of time I’ve spent on the webernets and how public my stuff is, I think that might be a record.

Okay, so I *did* take the time to go through this massively long thread. Apparently, there is a person posting under eBay id wenb5202 who doesn’t understand how sniping works and was whining about how the rules are unfair, they should be changed, etc. Then she starts slinging links to MY articles around pretending that she IS me.
That’s when I got pissed.
So I wrote a little thing under my eBay ID, which is redheadmama and hopefully this will all get sorted out. I hate this kind of pointless crap; this person just arbitrarily decided to use my work and my name in their little evening trollery and it pisses me off.
Tacoma school shooting January 3, 2007
A child was killed this morning at Foss High School.
My sweet sister in law and her nephew live about two miles from this school, and he goes to middle school right next to this high school. I’m assuming he’s in lockdown, but I hesitate to call until later this morning. I don’t want to get in the way.
I’m just waiting till this stuff heads down my way, in Podunk, Oregon.
